All the King’s Men - American War of Independence British
Review taken from 'Casting Around'
The strong similarities between the uniforms worn during the American War of Independence allow for a lot of conversion opportunities and Ken Cliffe has been exploiting them, alongside some new sculpting, to extend his AWI range with dedicated British troops.
Ken’s new British line infantry are conversions of his existing marching infantryman, now featuring British high winter gaiters, a goat-fur backpack, and a tin canteen. New British light infantry are conversions of one the existing ‘lights’, with the brim removed from the distinctive hat. In place of a drummer there is a bugler, with a separate arm needing only simple attachment.
